Case Study - FHHR New Regional Hospital

Five Hills Health Region (FHHR) embarked on the development of a new Regional Hospital with the goal of improving the health services for the people of their region. They have begun this project utilizing the 3P process (Production Preparation Process) which has led them to rethink the design and construction process. They have elected to use the Integrated Lean Project Delivery process, the first time this has happened in Canada and the first time that it has been done by a public entity world-wide.

The FHHR and Ministry of Health have commited themselves to sharing everything that they are learning. They have provided a copy of the Integrated Form of Agreement and a project update for the wider community to use. Integrated Form of Agreement

The Five Hills Health Region and the Saskatchewan Ministry of Health have generously offered to provide their copy of the Integrated Form of Agreement free of charge. The Integraed Form of Agreement is the multi-party contract used in an Integrated Project Delivery project to create the framework for collaboration. This IFOA has been modified from the original to match the unique circumstances of the Candian market.
